My name is Julie Simonson. I am an athletic training major at MSU. I first got interested in athletic training during my sophomore year of high school in biology class. My bio teacher had a pig skeleton in her room and I became interested in the various bones and their names. I took anatomy my senior year. I participated in sports all for years of high school, so athletic training is a way to stay close to that.
I like to read and write. My favorite books are Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I read often in my spare time. I am currently working on A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen though my time is being devoured by chem homework. I do my best to read a book a month.
I don't have a particular subject that I like to study, but i can tell what I don't like: chemistry. It is a never ending cycle of homework, tests and stress. It is reaquired for my major otherwise I wouldn't have taken it.
